Crochet Fone Bone

My crocheted Fone Bone from Jeff Smith's BONE

(Now Fone Bone can be my reading buddy!)

I am pleased with how he turned out. I crocheted his eyes, hoping to capture some of that tapered line look with yarn that Jeff Smith in so good at creating with ink.

I also modified the pattern I was working from a little, and made my own legs. Next time I would like to work on his arms, and maybe give him fingers (at least a thumb!)

=wirebound made Fone a little scarf, too!
